Vanuatu is composed of about 83 islands in the South Pacific, a few inhabited and many uninhabited. Many of the smaller and more low-rise islands are Coral Atolls, but some are not. NOT All, but a few of these islands are volcanic formations rising from the Pacific Ocean-bed. And a few of these are actually ACTIVE Volcanos, even ones that i continual or frequent sporadi eruption. The most well-known of these are Mt. Yasur o Tanna Island and Marum Volcano on Ambrym Island.
